I simply love being a mother. Those happy smiles. The eager questions. The proud accomplishments. The pure, undiluted love. The sloppy wet kisses. Even the moments of annoyance... "one more bedtime story mommy" "oops, I didn't mean to spill an entire container of yogurt all over my new outfit" "I don't want to do my school today"
No matter what, I simply love being a mother.
Maybe that is because I had a such wonderful example to teach me how to be a mother?
And now, she simply loves being a Noni. (as well as still being a wonderful mom!)
We celebrated mother's day at the zoo today, then at Sweet Tomatoes, then a stop at the mall. I must admit that I am exhausted. However, I got to be with the people that make MY mother's day perfect. My mother, and my children. Life is good.
We are going to have quite a collection of those pictures of the kids in the big bird nest at the zoo! ha ha!!! We have many of those.
