Who writes this stuff?

I try to keep my priorities in order: Jesus, my Andy, our children, everything else. I homeschool our boys, love to read almost all written words and have been challenged by the military life for 18 years. Right now my faulty human body is demanding a lot of attention. One day at a time, learning as much as possible every day and remembering to look for JOY when other things threaten to overwhelm.

My Blog Title Verse

"For the Lord gives wisdom. From His mouth come knowledge and understanding." Proverbs 2:6 NKJV
The Message translation puts it this way "God gives out Wisdom free, is plainspoken in Knowledge and Understanding."

Just a note

Hello everyone. I feel like I haven't written in a while, so I wanted to say hi. Thanksgiving was great. I am so unbelievably blessed to have a family that I not only love, but also like. I have pretty good in-laws too, so the holiday was great. Good times, with great people, and a really fun game of Cranium
I am exhausted, but for some reason am wide awake. It is almost 1am though, so I really should try to sleep.
Thanks for listening. I want to know what everyone is up to for Christmas. Talk to me people!!

well....I think we have bored people to tears...we are the only people reading our blogs anymore! ha ha! Or maybe I just got too radical between my homeschooling and no santa blogs!
Oh well....
I had to turn my fridge calendar to December already because I was adding things DAILY I tell you!
I just went ahead and changed it yesterday bc I kept needing to see Dec. I think I just talked to a friend at church tonight and planned something for the only friday or saturday night we DIDNT already have something planned! So, needless to say it will be a busy December, but I am very much looking forward to it. I am looking forward to it all!
We will see you very soon!

We have a lot of Christmas plans already as well. Scott's work Christmas party is tomorrow night and mine is next Sunday night. We are going to have to miss our church ornament exchange to go to it, but I kind of feel obligated to go being so new. I just can't decide. It is not too late to change my mind. Also, we are having a "small group" Christmas party for our church small group, getting together with my immediate family and Scott's immediate family. I am sure we will see Scott's extended family on Christmas day and my extended family is getting together in Jan at a restaurant somewhere. I think that's a great idea. It was my aunt Bobbie's idea. So...I think we will be pretty busy too. We have to work hard to stay focused on the reason we have Christmas to begin with.
