Today mom wanted to go to Rome and run some errands, return some library books, just "stuff". We had water aerobics in the morning. Zion had speech therapy at 12. So, around 1 she said, "Let's go to Rome". I said, "I have to talk to Andy....(pause) Well, I guess I could skip talking to him today". To which she responded...
"No, cause I don't like you very much when that happens! You're no fun when you don't get to talk to him."
So, my apologies to the world. If even my own mother doesn't like me on the days I don't get to talk to Andy, I am sure that the rest of you are sick to death of me!
Actually, I try not to blog on days that I don't get to talk to him. I prefer this to be a positive place, full of happy thoughts and feelings. One Andy-less days, sometimes positive is harder to find.
I miss him so much it hurts to breath some moments.
But we are making it.
There are plenty of happy moments too, I promise!

The day you were here for homeschool co-op and we were discussing meeting at an earlier time so you could have plenty of time to get home to talk, you offered to keep it the same and just skip talking to him occassionally and/or leave early. WHAT?!?! No way!!! No way are we going to be THAT group of friends! ha ha! Goodness gracious girl! Don't skip... if at all possible.. not just because you might be cranky, but because you are immensely blessed to have that time and we would never want to take it away from you!
But, yeah, I agree that 1pm is a very inconvenient time.. come on people, a little consideration for the busy moms here!
Moms sometimes catch what friends may miss...your mom just likes to see her girl complete and she knows that Andy is the one that does that...
I think I may speak for the rest of your readers and say we enjoy your writings on sunny days and the rainy ones, too.
Bethany,
I think it's ok if you post here on the days that you are cranky because you have not gotten to talk to Andy. I totally understand your desire to keep your blog positive, but your readers are your friends, and we love you on the not-so-positive days too. Those moments are real, honest moments, and it's ok to share those - I'm willing to bet that all of your readers will be here to lift and hold you up and BE your positive on the days in which positive is harder to find.
Right ladies??
