Who writes this stuff?

I try to keep my priorities in order: Jesus, my Andy, our children, everything else. I homeschool our boys, love to read almost all written words and have been challenged by the military life for 18 years. Right now my faulty human body is demanding a lot of attention. One day at a time, learning as much as possible every day and remembering to look for JOY when other things threaten to overwhelm.

My Blog Title Verse

"For the Lord gives wisdom. From His mouth come knowledge and understanding." Proverbs 2:6 NKJV
The Message translation puts it this way "God gives out Wisdom free, is plainspoken in Knowledge and Understanding."

Uncle Todd

In the hustle and bustle of the move, I had misplaced my camera cord.
So for the last few days, I had been taking pictures, and enjoying pictures,
but had no way to upload them.
That has been torture for me, because I LOVE to post pictures.
However, I finally found my cord, uploaded some pictures,
and have a small slideshow to share.
First, a little background. Todd is not really my little brother by blood.
He is a boy that just started hanging around our house
- and we decided to keep him.
Similar to what I said about Andy, he has his own "real" family,
who love him. We don't try to steal any of that love away.
We just give him more, because we love him too.
My Mom even gave him a "certificate of adoption"
before he left for Korea, so he would know that nothing
would change. He belongs to us, just because!
We had a wonderful lunch with Todd last week, but it was
way too short. He spoiled the boys with video games and candy,
and just being a silly "uncle". Isn't that what brothers are for?
(and on a side note, isn't it hilarious how all military guys feel
the need to grow facial hair the minute the get time off?
Isn't he adorable? Andy does the same thing every time!)

Well, the chances of any guys joining the Binkleys as a "real" brother are almost gone! Only one more girl left!
On another note..the edge of your post was cut off for some reason and all the words weren't showing up...hmmm...
I think this guy has been to our house...did he come play with the fake snow that night?

hmmmm, that's right we have one more daughter... might feel weird though since he's been a brother for so long.

That was so great being able to hang out with y'all-even if it was only a short visit-especially since I didn't get to see Todd last time he was home! I love all my boys-and you too Betsy!! (BTW-I want a copy of those pictures!)
