Who writes this stuff?

I try to keep my priorities in order: Jesus, my Andy, our children, everything else. I homeschool our boys, love to read almost all written words and have been challenged by the military life for 18 years. Right now my faulty human body is demanding a lot of attention. One day at a time, learning as much as possible every day and remembering to look for JOY when other things threaten to overwhelm.

My Blog Title Verse

"For the Lord gives wisdom. From His mouth come knowledge and understanding." Proverbs 2:6 NKJV
The Message translation puts it this way "God gives out Wisdom free, is plainspoken in Knowledge and Understanding."

hey thanks for stopping by my blog a bit ago. :-) I was going to email you back but couldn't...so I thought I'd just hop over here. :-) Actually, my Amish roots are even closer than 1 gen...I was amish myself for 4 years as a child. We left when my parents were witnessed to by a Baptist minister. :-) My mom came from a family of 9 and 7 of them left the amish...my dad came from a family of 9 also and 2 of them left the amish...the funeral was my dad's mom. But sets of grandparents stayed amish...1 of each set has passed away. It is a great heritage though I wished they believed in saving grace instead of works. some of them are learning little by little about salvation but, sad to say, many of them do not agree with that "non amish" point of view.

Thanks again for stopping by...I hope you're having a blessed week!
