Who writes this stuff?

My photo
I try to keep my priorities in order: Jesus, my Andy, our children, everything else. I homeschool our boys, love to read almost all written words and have been challenged by the military life for 18 years. Right now my faulty human body is demanding a lot of attention. One day at a time, learning as much as possible every day and remembering to look for JOY when other things threaten to overwhelm.

My Blog Title Verse

"For the Lord gives wisdom. From His mouth come knowledge and understanding." Proverbs 2:6 NKJV
The Message translation puts it this way "God gives out Wisdom free, is plainspoken in Knowledge and Understanding."

Ladybug, Ladybug, fly away home...

We spent Canaan's birthday at the park. Mid-May, with the sun shining, and the birds singing and the rest of the world still in school is the perfect time to play at the park.
It's even better when a friendly little ladybug joins you...

Zion was not sure whether he was fascinated or fearful, but fascinated won in the end.

Canaan simply loved every minute of it, crawling all over him.

The other kids enjoyed watching it crawl all over him too!

After playing at the park we were hungry, so a quick trip to Fuddruckers was next.

Last, but certainly not least, Canaan finally got to open some presents!
The Wii is technically for the whole family to share, but he will use it more then anyone else, and, BOY, is he excited!

Ah, a ladybug sighting! Rumored to be good luck in the adoption community.
