I wished I had my camera. I saw one of those priceless moments that you see in Life Magazine. An adorable little redheaded toddler, sitting on his father's shoulders. A handsome, young, clean cut man with a crew cut. The toddler had a miniature U.S. flag, and as he watched the parade in awe, he waved that flag with all the enthusiasm that only a two year old can have. They both had such pure, real smiles on their faces that I couldn't help but smile too. Even if the parade had been completely boring, I would have enjoyed it, because of the utter joy reflected on those faces.
You know what the best part is? Those faces, those beautiful, awe inspiring faces....they belong to me!

I am sad that you didn't have your camera, too! It would have been a great picture. Well, you will never forget it and that is all that matters! I love your history lesson from your last post.
I tagged you on my blog. If you have time, you should check it out and do one on yours!
Have a good week!
I am so dumb...I totally didn't even think about it being Andy and Zion until you ended it that way!
I am glad you enjoyed the honeybee festival. This weekend was the locomotive festival here in Adairsville...we didn't go. ha.
I second those comments - I wish you had pics so we could see those beautiful faces, and it never occurred to me who you were talking about either!!! But how cute!!!
P.S. I'm still jealous of Zion's hair. I will never tell Liam that I wanted him to be a redhead SO badly! Silly I know, but I think it's gorgeous!
I can see Andy & Zion now with that beautiful picture you painted with your words! (You can tell you're a reader by the way that you write!!) Still, I think a real picture would have been nice as well!
