The funny things

I wasn't going to post tonight. I am tired, and the computer just looked intimidating. But, in my pre-bed routine I made my stop in the boy's room, to take Canaan to pee one last time before I go to sleep, and the smell of the room was so overwhelming that I just had to comment. 

 You see, Andy found an old bottle of after shave lotion under the bathroom cabinet the other day. He never uses it, so he gave it to Canaan. 

 That child is OBSESSED with it. Every single night he thinks he needs to put on his "special lotion". I think that tonight he must have put on about half the bottle, because he reeks! 

 Oh, how I miss the baby smell, but... that "trying to be a grown up and failing completely" smell sure is adorable too!
