Today is day one of my project to take a picture every day. I thought I would start the project out with a picture of my "fine" piece of equipment.
Actually, the reason I took a picture of my camera is because it was 10pm, and I had forgotten to take a picture... so, this is what I could come up with. I think it is a lame way to start my year, but oh well. The whole idea is that I will improve my picture taking abilities... and since they can't possibly get worse then this, I guess this is the way to start it! It can only get better, right? We better hope so!
A few day ago I was in the kitchen, loading the dishwasher I believe, when Andy yelled for me to come take a picture. This is what I saw when I arrived.
Since it was a couple of days ago, I didn't think it could count as my "day one".
However, I LOVE it. It is a window of my life.
My boys had been wrestling, which is a daily event, and had messed up my bed.
Even though it was just a few days after Christmas, my window is open, because the South GA breeze was gently blowing and my barefoot boys needed cooled down.
If you look really closely you can see the stack of books on my bedside table, my lifeline to sanity, or escape from reality, depending on the day, right behind Canaan's feet.
Zion is trying desperately to be exactly like Daddy and brother, but can't quite keep up yet.
Andy looks mean and tough, but really, he is laughing.
And that is the picture of my life.
