Who writes this stuff?

I try to keep my priorities in order: Jesus, my Andy, our children, everything else. I homeschool our boys, love to read almost all written words and have been challenged by the military life for 18 years. Right now my faulty human body is demanding a lot of attention. One day at a time, learning as much as possible every day and remembering to look for JOY when other things threaten to overwhelm.

My Blog Title Verse

"For the Lord gives wisdom. From His mouth come knowledge and understanding." Proverbs 2:6 NKJV
The Message translation puts it this way "God gives out Wisdom free, is plainspoken in Knowledge and Understanding."

1 out of 365

Today is day one of my project to take a picture every day. I thought I would start the project out with a picture of my "fine" piece of equipment.

A few day ago I was in the kitchen, loading the dishwasher I believe, when Andy yelled for me to come take a picture. This is what I saw when I arrived.

Since it was a couple of days ago, I didn't think it could count as my "day one".
However, I LOVE it. It is a window of my life.
My boys had been wrestling, which is a daily event, and had messed up my bed.
Even though it was just a few days after Christmas, my window is open, because the South GA breeze was gently blowing and my barefoot boys needed cooled down.
If you look really closely you can see the stack of books on my bedside table, my lifeline to sanity, or escape from reality, depending on the day, right behind Canaan's feet.
Zion is trying desperately to be exactly like Daddy and brother, but can't quite keep up yet.
Andy looks mean and tough, but really, he is laughing.

And that is the picture of my life.

Glad to know that my two are not the only ones who mess up mama's bed. I so enjoyed getting to know you the other night and I look forward to "following" you regularly on blogspot@
