Who writes this stuff?

I try to keep my priorities in order: Jesus, my Andy, our children, everything else. I homeschool our boys, love to read almost all written words and have been challenged by the military life for 18 years. Right now my faulty human body is demanding a lot of attention. One day at a time, learning as much as possible every day and remembering to look for JOY when other things threaten to overwhelm.

My Blog Title Verse

"For the Lord gives wisdom. From His mouth come knowledge and understanding." Proverbs 2:6 NKJV
The Message translation puts it this way "God gives out Wisdom free, is plainspoken in Knowledge and Understanding."

Too much blogging?

Last night we fed the frog, Mr. Pikman, his crickets. As per the usual routine, Daddy and Canaan were huddled around the aquarium, waiting to see the carnage.
Our little aquatic bundle of energy reached out and gobbled up two crickets in one huge bite. Canaan was very impressed. He turned to me and said, "Mommy, did you see that? You really need to blog about that!"
I just laughed - yet here I am, blogging about it.
Not so much because Mr. Pikman ate two crickets in one fell swoop, but because my five year olds first response was to assume that something that cool was, of course, blog worthy.
What a world we live in. What a time. In our house at least, everyone considers "the blog."
